Mar de Gloria is a small restaurant in the centre of Antequera. Eleven tables, honest traditional Andalusian cooking and owners present every day in the dining room and kitchen.

Mar de Gloria was not born to be grand. It was born to be manageable, approachable and coherent.
We work with eleven tables because that size allows us to be present, know the rhythm of each service and look after the experience of every customer.
The cuisine is traditional Andalusian, recognisable and honest. Produce, technique and flavour without unnecessary artifice.
After more than forty years in the hospitality industry, we decided to get back to basics
After more than four decades in hospitality and more than twenty projects, we understood that we wanted to return to a restaurant where we could cook and personally look after our customers.
Mar de Gloria was born from that decision: to do fewer things, but do them better. To return to a small dining room, a kitchen with purpose, and a way of welcoming that does not depend on impersonal structures.

We aren't looking to impress with empty gestures. We prefer the customer to find a comfortable table, an appealing menu, good wines and attentive service without being intrusive.
